FIRST MIRACLE
I was reading a devotional about Jesus attending the wedding at Cana (John 2:1-10). The author explained how Jesus showed empathy in that embarrassing situation, when the wine ran out in the middle of the celebration. The author of that devotional posed the question, "Why was changing the water to wine Jesus' first miracle? Why not opening blind eyes, healing deaf ears, or raising the dead?" As I continued to read, I asked the Lord, "Why was your first miracle at the wedding feast?" The answer He gave me resonated in my spirit and literally took my breath away. This is what He told me, "Because I AM the Alpha, the Omega, the beginning and the end, I am the Author and the Finisher. I began with a wedding feast and I will end with a wedding feast."
