Prickly Pear and Friend |

| While in Sweetwater, Isaw a huge prickly pear cactus hanging over a rock wall. The fluffy yellow blooms were showing off in the afternoon sun. I wanted to capture the image with my camera as well as my heart. As I got close to the cactus, I could hear the bees. I was careful and as I was getting ready to snap my picture I saw a little bee bury itself in the bloom. I was hoping it would emerge as the picture was snapped and to my delight, it did! So here it is just the way I saw it. |
